IN sociology class, we're focusing on surveys and i need an idea or a survey question for my high school... The teacher said it doesn't have to basically relate to school.

Survey the average age of the people at your school, ask how important do you think SAT scores are to a college student's success, survey the race of everyone, umm survey how many cans of soda each kid has a day.....
There are all kinds of questions out there, you're definitely making it harder than it really is. :)
