What are the qualities of a good friend? What do you want and need from a friend? What are you willing to give a friend? Write at least five qualities.
What are the qualities of a good neighbor? How is being a good friend related to being a good neighbor? Is there a relationship between the two? Explain your answer.

America has some pretty rigorous things set up by the AMA for foreign doctors entering and practicing in this country, you may ask how difficult it was for them to make that transition. Also, I would ask if they planned on going back anytime to practice in their home country (either on a temporary basis or long-term) and why.

Credit card questions and paid survey sites oh my?
When doing "paid surveys" and such, sometimes they offer a good bit of cash to sign up for a credit card. Does it affect your credit AT ALL to apply for a credit card and cut it up the minute it arrives in the mail? Is this fraud? Will I be screwing myself over somehow?

Reply:You could ask if the animal has adiquate food and shelter, if they're emaciated or not, if they have a low body score, whats the condition of the animals coat, if the people have not seen the animals be feed or watered over a period of time. Things like that.

Would you react differently if you saw a person being abused? Etc. I hope this helps. Oh and there is nothing dorky about someone who wants to save animals! Give yourself some credit!!! :-)

For a class project, I need to come up with 20 survey questions to ask students and teachers in my school relating to Global Warming. Question #6: About 40,000 years ago, much of North America was covered in ice. What caused it to be so cold then?
Question #7: About 1000AD, it was warm enough for Vikings explorers to farm in Greenland. If there was no industry back then why was it so much warmer?
Question #8: Did you the fastest rate of temperature rise during the 20th century occurred during the 1940s; before the massive industrialization of the second half of the century. If this the case why was it so much warmer during the 40s than the 70s?
Question #9: On a related note, why were scientists in the mid 70s were very concerned about "global cooling"? Time and Newsweek and other news sources did stories on the "menace" of global cooling back then. Do a Yahoo search for more info.
Question #10: When the Kyoto treaty came to the US Senate for approval, the vote was 95-0 against ratification. This vote against the Kyoto protocol was more unified then the vote to declare war on the Japanese in 1941. Why?

Reply:Recently it was in the news that rice paddies give off a high percentage of methane gas that is thought to be the cause of global warming. (The paddies are flooded with water which liquifies the manure\fertilizer used giving off huge quantities of methane.)

Scientist have stated that if the Antartic melts, coastal areas on every continent will be doomed to be permanantly underwater.
How should we handle the relocation of the people and businesses this will affect?

So much of the tropical rain forest is being clear cut everyday and the forest is source of many things in our ecosystem including oxygen. This is part of global warming.

i guess with the above you can coin some questions out.
Reply:you first need to filter your survey. your first question should be: Do you know what global warming is. If not please hand in your questionnaire. Is So, please continue to #2.
Secondly, at the end you should ask questions to categorize people. ie: are you male or female? What age group are you in, etc. This will make it possible for you to make hypothesis at the end. ie: 70% of women are worried about climate changes. etc.
So there is the beginning and end of your survey. As for the middle now.
Do you recycle?
Are you in favour of Kyoto?
Those the climat change worry you?

I'll be conducting an experiment where I’ll test to see whether excitement really provokes involvement while anxiety provokes learning. To do this I’ll send around a survey to several people but I need questions that will clearly provoke either excitement or anxiety- any help?? I could use about 15 questions for each… thanks!

First, make sure -- following each question --the Subject(s) MUST
identify whether the question provoked excitement or anxiety. To do that, a prefice explaining each which is clear, concise, %26amp; simple

Secondly, your questions should be picked from subject areas which might NORMALLY EXCITE or PROVOKE ANXIETY in the
people of your culture [Subjects]. A few of those areas are: World

radioactive or biological or nerve agents AND WORDED to
DIRECTLY AFFECT THAT PERSON and their family. REJECTION

I hate it, but gross things bring anxiety, like: have you ever walked
in on your parents.....? Fun things they would like to "tell" about
[bigshot it] like their vacation, a "cool" ride at the state fair, etc etc

are anxiety events: What did you feel like when a)you had a car wreck b)found you were pregnant/girl friend was c) were real close

I need at least 10 college students. when i posted this question before there were about 7-9 who said they would complete the survey. At that time i didn't post the questions so here they are:
Why do you think college cost so much?
How do you pay for college?
In the end, what do you think the high cost of college will benefit?
What does the life of a college student actually consist of?
How can you lowere the high tuition prices?
What happens to your credit when you can't pay the loans off?
How do you pay for the other expenses that come with college life?...books, food, clothes, vacations,etc.
Do you think children from poverty stricken families will be able to afford college?
How could families with little to no income afford to send their kids of to college? What are the possible ways?
