Comments: Your survey is welll meant--but (I do this sort of thing for a living) is leading--you don't offer options that allow for varying points of view. question 6 is definately a leading question--you are placing a bias in the readers mind. You should simply ask if space exploration should continue--lose the first part. And any good survey should include room for comments. Those willl usually tell you more than the answers to your questions will. For example:

Comment---Again, #6 (and #1 and 2) space exploration and research helps us solve problems here on earth--and the technology it produces has (and continues to) paid for itself many times over. The computer you use, much of the modern medical technology that saves so many lives, weather and communications satelllites--all are benefits of the space program. And space research is critical to environmental science--much of our best information on climate change comes from NASA.

In addition, in coming decades, space applications--especially manufacturing in space--will be critical to maintaining economic competetiveness for our country--if we want to state at theforefrontof technology and economic growth, we have to increase our committment to space research.

Good luck with your survey! :)
